Young Adult Ministry

Age is but a number, but what you’ll find in this group are people in their 20s and 30s. This group is largely focused on fellowship. At whatever stage you are in life, it can be difficult to find friends and create long-lasting relationships. We at Redeemer want to make this easier for you. If you are a young adult (single, married, or whatever) please join us at any of our events and make some friends along the way. We seek to build community amongst believers. See our events below.

Men’s Ministry

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

Men’s ministry at Redeemer seeks to bring men of all ages together to share Christ, grow in faith, and encourage one another. Social activities, service events, small groups, and mission trips are scheduled throughout the year.

Women’s Ministry

Dorcas Circle

Dorcas Circle meets in Miller Hall on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m., September through May. Some of our projects include sewing quilts for Lutheran World Relief, supplying baby quilts to Lutheran Social Services, and hosting funeral dinners, Lenten meals, and participating in other projects for the congregation. All ladies of Redeemer are welcome to attend and help with the various service projects.

LWML

LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries, and supporting global missions (taken from LWML website lwmlcid.org).  There are presently two LWML organizations at Redeemer:  Dorcas Circle and Women of Redeemer. These two organizations are actively serving the mission ministries of Redeemer and the national LWML through their collection of “mites”.
